About Logan: Logan was originally found wandering the city streets and was not in the best of shape when the shelter contacted us. He was very thin and was probably "dumped" by his previous household because he was not housebroken. They obviously did not bother to have a vet look at him or they would have found out it wasn't his fault. Within a couple of weeks of being on medication he was completely housebroken.
Logan has come back to rescue. His new family did not realize the responsibility of caring for their new family member. They did not have the time to commit to Logan. They did mention their vet had taken him off the medication within in a few weeks of adoption and that they had no incontinence problems. We will evaluate this and have him examined to make sure this is the case. He is absolutey wonderful and is very confused as to why he is here. Thank goodness he remembered everyone and should be comfortable within a couple of days. Please consider giving him a permanent family! He should not have to go through this again.
UPDATE 9/12: Logan is doing very well. A visit to the vet shows he is in great health. His urinalysis showed he still has a high ph level, but with everything else looking great, it should not be a major concern. We had his age estimated a little high the first time through rescue and he is probably about 1.5 years old. This pup won't last long!
