LBR is an all volunteer rescue group comprised of regular people who LOVE the Boxer breed and have dedicated their spare time to saving our beloved breed!

Our volunteers truly are regular folks....we all work full time jobs, have families and friends - regular lives. We have opted to take what spare time we have and put that energy towards saving Boxer dogs in need.

LBR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are placed into loving, caring, trained foster homes where the fosters are treated just like a part of the family. Our foster homes make sure that their foster dog gets all the medical care they need, including but not limited to; vaccines, heart worm test and prevention, spay/neuter, micro-chip along with house and crate training. The foster home also evaluates their foster dog to see how their foster is with other dogs, cats, children; how they are on a lead (walks), how they act in the car, etc. This helps us when it comes time to placing that dog into their Forever Home. We are only interested in setting everyone who is involved in the adoption process up for success, not failure!
