...LBR originally rescued me from a local shelter where I was almost euthanized. I'm not sure, but I heard other dogs talking at the shelter and they said that means they send you to the Rainbow Bridge. Although that Bridge sounds pretty, I didn't want to go there - not yet anyway! I'm too young! Thank goodness LBR came and pulled me! I did get adopted once I was in LBR's foster program and I was with my family for about 1 year. Unfortunately, my family had to move and couldn't take me with them - that made me sad. But the ladies at Lighthouse took me back with open arms! So I have been back in foster care since December of 2006. My foster Mom is wonderful and takes me to obedience classes all the time! I do really well in them but my Mom is a great handler with lots of experience so that helps.

I am about 7 years old now. I am a homebody. I need to be in an only animal home as I am not comfortable around other animals of any breed. I do like to play and run so I may be too much for small children. I prefer to just hang out at home, maybe keep your lap warm as you watch a good movie? I listen well and know all of my basic commands. My Mom is always telling me what a good boy I am and how sweet I am. Hey, I try! My trainers are really impressed with me too. I enjoy going to classes and hope that I can continue once I find my forever family.
