Gretchen is a 1 year old, white, deaf girl who comes to us with a pretty significant medical issue that went untreated by previous "owners".

She was surrendered to us and from what we can trace back, she has been ill for a very long time. It was reported to us that she had "bloody diarrhea" and the only medical care provided, previously, was a Parvo test and fecal examination which both were negative.

She came into LBR just before Christmas and the medical treatment commenced! She has been brought up to date on all vaccines and spayed. We had biopsies of her intestines performed so we knew exactly what we were dealing with. Turns out that this problem of hers in due to an infection - this is the news we were hoping to hear! She is on medication and we are hopeful that she will make a speedy recovery.
