| About Oliver:
Hi Everyone I have my very own blog where you can get up to the date information on me and of course about being a foster dog.
Here is my website: http://lbrfosterdog.blogspot.com
Hi My Name is Oliver!
I am a two year old male deaf boxer. Unfortunately I was returned back to LBR. But I am excited to find my forever home and live happily ever after. My previous owners did not take me to obedience school and now I've turned into a 2 year old with no manners. However, I am a quick learner. I still remember the signs that I learned when I was first in fostercare like: sit, potty, lay down, and stay. I am currently learning leave it, come, and stay from a further distance. I love playing catch, tug of war with my foster sister, cuddling, and walking. I also learned how to run on the treadmill and I love it. I have a video that you can watch of me on the treadmill! Even without words, I know routines and when I see my Kong filled with treats I know that it is time to go into the crate. My foster mom often forgets that I am deaf because I am constantly watching and observing her and I am one step ahead doing what she was just about to sign! I don't want to brag, but I am pretty smart!
UPDATE JUNE 2009
I have completed both my obedience training class and a presports class. I enjoyed them both. It was a great experience for me. I actually won several games we had on the last day of obedience class! I hope to take some more sports type classes when my fostermom's schedule will permit it. My favorite things were going in the tunnel and jumping through hoops that were hanging. I enjoy walks in the metro parks with my foster sister. We walk for one hour and by the time I get home I eat my dinner and then I am fast asleep on the couch. I love to cuddle and love to lay in laps, I know I weigh too much but it is my favorite place to be! I can't wait to find my perfect lap to spend the rest of my days with! |
